Some photos of my pugs, both those living and those gone.
At the beginning of July, our Bridget (affectionately called 'Bubu Baby Boo Girl' or 'Bubu') went to go wait for us at the Rainbow Bridge. An autoimmune disorder attacked her blood cells and we didn't know until it was too late. We did all we could for her (including a blood transfusion), with the help of the most wonderful vet ever, but ultimately she had to be put to sleep on July 3rd. It was for the best.
Bridget, taken a few weeks before she became sick. This will be how we'll always remember her.
After Bridget's passing, my mother made prints of a photo she took of her a few years back. This sits at my bedside (aptly guarded by Tomar-Re. I had no other place to put him, but I like having Bubu guarded by a hero. Hehe) and I wake up to it every morning to say "Good Morning".
As for the other two, Rocky was affected the most by her passing. They grew up together and she was essentially his playmate. I didn't think dogs could ever be sad, but I was wrong. The big boo has stuck by my mother since then. He's back to his old self, but I don't think he'll ever quite be the same.
Emma, on the other hand, has become lazy and lethargic. We're worried she may eventually contract the same autoimmune disorder Bridget had (as they're half-sisters), but for now, she seems to be doing just fine.
