Bad Day....
Good News: I texted 'London Lite' Newspaper following their POSITIVE write up following Pete dohertys solo gig thanking them for finally writing some good stuff! AND THEY PRINTED IT!! Woo Hoo
Awareness is coming that there is much more to an individual than their drug abuse!!
I believe that negativity creates negative actions. Therefore if someone like Pete Doherty realises that he is loved and admired for his talents, WITHOUT the need to destroy himself - he might, just might recover from his addictions.
I have just finished reading the book his mother wrote and may I say what a fabulous story she tells.
Now I must rant as I am rather angry:
I am so angry with my grandmother right now. Bare in mind that as a child she treated me cruely. Locked me in a room on my own for my 7th birthday, used to feed me last nights dinner for breakfast and lunch if I hadn't eaten it (even though I had a medical condition that affected the amount I could consume), locked me in the garden regardless of the weather when her friends visited.
Despite all this, I still continue to be there for her and remain the ONLY grandchild who actually visits, takes her to lunch, etc etc
I have done more than most would for her (and will continue to do so)
A few years back she very kindly lent me some money so I could move. I have offered this money back to her in instalments time and time again and she has always refused - tells me she wants it in one lump. I've explained time and time again that I cant afford to give it to her in one lump sum so eventually she agreed I could pay her £50 a month.
It has left me with nothing to pay her, but I keep to me word this month and sent her a cheque for £50. (Don't forget the fact she has thousands and is not indesperate need for this money)
She recieved the cheque this morning and rang my mum claiming I had said I would pay her £100! NO way did I agree to this, I would not have cos I know I cant afford it!!!
I have also paid for her holiday too (albeit a £9.50 from The Sun jobby) and when I see her I take her to lunch and all sorts.
I am so mad!
