I believe that everything has the capacity to be understood, to some extent. Why is the sky blue? well simply because light is scattered by the oxygen and nitrogen molecules in such a way that the wavelength of the light emitted corresponds to the blue color we perceive as a result of the Tyndall effect. It may be complicated, but nonetheless explainable...
I like explanations and understanding things, but at the same time it ruins the fun sometimes... Like fire. I was watching a fire the other night in my house and i couldnt even appreciate it for what it was because i was understanding the exact reaction that was occuring. It took the fun out of everything.
