yeah, so, took job offer no. 1. start next monday, whee. turns out this will have certain perks, such as my benefits kicking in earlier than they would normally and tax breaks for taking public transportation. I did, meanwhile, decide to stay on at the b&n for the weekends until chris comes back. so, um, yeah, don't expect to see me again between now and january.
on the upside, the heavy work hours might actually leave me with the money to get a ticket to berlin, meaning I don't have to start begging for money. however, given a situation some of you know about, I do need to find someone who will let me borrow a baseball bat to take with me -- bearing in mind that it probably won't come back in one piece. any takers?
