The thing that stuck with me the most for the first part of the fic was how uncomfortable it made me. I'm not sure if it was because it's not like the three of them sat down at a table and worked this out or because of uncertainty America was feeling or both. But yeah. Uncomfortable was very much the word.

Until, And now that his face is pressed close enough to the floor that England can't see his mouth but America can hear, he whispers: "I do want this, America-san. Do not be afraid for your honor."

The uncomfortable still lingered because holy crap is England kinda scary (if rly hot) in this. I think it was the effective way you used America's POV.

Not to say I didn't enjoy this. I kinda like being made to feel uncomfortable.

The other major thing in this fic is how much Japan really stood out to me. Way more than England and America - hell even England/America. I rarely find a fic that really strikes the balance between everything that Japan is for me, but I found this did, in this context.

Hee, I like being made to feel uncomfortable, too -- and America would be uncomfortable with this, because he doesn't like viewing himself as someone who takes advantage of other people. Which isn't to say he doesn't, because he does all the time, but he's not cognizant of it. And in a situation like this, it's hard for him to position himself as the hero when he's fucking a bound captive, and that makes him uneasy. Self-awareness isn't exactly a strong suit of America's.

I'm glad Japan stood out. There's a conversation that he and America really should have after the sex is over, but the fic was already...um, around 12.5k. So. Yeah.

...I'm not sure if that's better or worse than England.

Not knowing what you're doing versus knowing exactly what you're doing and doing it anyway? Yeah, that's a tough call. I find both compelling for different reasons -- in fiction, at least.

It honestly depends a bit on context, I suppose. And how one reacts if they're being called on it.
