My father is getting married next weekend!

Finals are right around the corner, too! And oh boy do I have a lot of final projects and papers to contend with!

And I'm helping my friends out with our newest machinima* project!

(Also, it would be now when I finally feel like writing again. Which makes a certain amount of sense, come to think of it. I find I generally end up writing more, and being more productive, when I'm juggling lots of things at once, because I have to manage my time well.)
Oh Jesus Christ I know that. SOON I WILL HAVE SUMMER AND WILL NOT BE ABLE TO WRITE. damn it the pool better be open.

1. You were having long conversations with Mith about Sei/sub. I got in on said conversations. I had fun talking to you, and I asked if I could friend, and it turned out we had a few other fandoms in common, too.
2. Awesome ladies, Avatar, AUs out the wazoo (from the cracktacular to the oddly plausible), tiny pretty angry things, and porn with blood in.
3. You not only blog about fannish things, you blog sensitively and intelligently about real-world issues! Is good antidote for rampant stupidity that occasionally infects the Internets.
4. Those epic Buffy and Angel recap posts you did last summer-ish, actually. Reading them made me feel like I was in high school again, but in a good way.

5. I'm in school - college. I'm majoring in Associated Science so that I can get a degree and get an easier time getting a job in Web Design/Development. Though actually what I'm most interested in studying is history - especially Cold War Era (I FEEL SO UNORIGINAL)

Hardly unoriginal! And Cold War history is awesome; I'm doing a ton of research on it right now myself. Oh Hetalia, the books you make me acquire. Not that I'm complaining. Also, I would point out that your degree is a lot more marketable than mine is. *cough*

This icon started out as a sort of inside joke between one of my friends and I who kept doing the "Magneto face" after seeing that particular episode from the 90's X-Men cartoon at my college's Sci-Fi Club meeting.

Anyway, to answer your question...

5. I joined the forum part back in ...2002, I think? It was because one of my internet buddies at the time, Efli, was banned at FFO for seemingly no real reason (this was way before I became admin there). So I joined RI in support as he was a part of the tournament scene way back when. I slowly got into them myself around the same time. I became a regular of the IRC channel once I learned of its existence in late '02, just in time for RT Sunshine and later, Survivor IX.

She does! I'm really fond of her, and she doesn't try to be my mom or anything, which is good. I mean, I met her for the first time when I was already in college and living away from home, so I related to her more as another adult than as potential daughter figure.
