I ended up starting a lot of things for Porn Battle and only finishing one, thanks to real life deciding to kick in while PB ran, but I am rather fond of this one. I'm glad you finally write for a fandom I like. <3 (And yes, I read those books just because of your recommendation... I don't regret it!).

Well, this was... hot and heartbreaking and dkfhdkd. There were a lot of wonderful metaphors in this, but I think this line stood out to me:

And he always comes back after that, sits on the shore with her and cradles her in his arms and waits for the tide to wash them both clean.

Btw, would you give me the link to this porn battle? I never heard of it but it sounds interesting... I tried to google it, but google tells me I can't search for naughty words like 'porn' and I don't know how to switch it off and -- aaargh.

I. Um. Kind of fell down a gay-country-shaped hole for two years. *cough* But I have crawled back out of it, and I'm glad I'm writing for this fandom, too! And given how ridiculously in love I am with Finnick and Annie and so many of the other characters, I don't expect that to change anytime soon.

The line you pointed out was one of my favorites to write -- I have all these images in my head of Finnick after he gets back from the Capitol, how he and Annie go off together and hold each other for hours until he really feels like he's back again.

Heh. I knew you from back when you were writing Persona, Code Geass, Death Note, Final Fantasy, and other assorted smaller fandoms, and I loved nearly everything I read, but That Fandom just wasn't really my thing. I know most people are probably pretty sad you left That Fandom, but know there's at least one person who isn't. XD

Yeah, I remember friending you waaaaaaaaaaaay back when. I'm glad you got such a kick out of the older stuff! (I am admittedly almost afraid to read anything I wrote pre-'09 because I am afraid I will judge my old stories so hard.)

And honestly, that's a really good thing to know. I'm grateful for all the friends I made and the reception I got in That Fandom, but well, it was time for me to move on. And then I started shacking up with THG! And these living arrangements seem to be working out well!

Very interesting indeed. *grins* I do hope you enjoy~
