brief status update thing.
First: major apologies, guys -- I know I promised Worldsmith this week, but if there's going to be any Worldsmithing, it's probably going to fall on Friday evening during con downtime or something, or I might just push it back to next Sunday or Monday. (The latter is, in fact, looking increasingly likely.) I've been absolutely swamped with finals and graduation, and I feel awful about the holdup, but once exams end, I should be able to update more normally. I'm not abandoning it, god knows, but it turns out that writing roughly 5k of fic a week when I have ten-page papers to write is, er, more challenging than I anticipated, even when I give myself a head start on the fic. Once finals end and I graduate, though, I'm going back to the chapter-a-week schedule, and don't see any problems keeping that up.
I will also reply to backlogged comments in a little while. eheh. Why does this always happen to me.
Second, and on a more positive note: I'm going to be mostly-MIA from the Internet from this afternoon until Sunday-Monday, because it's ACen time! (And also Mith's and my two-year anniversary on Sunday. ♥) Our cosplay schedule looks like this:
Friday is for Tokyo Babylon -- Sumeragi Subaru (me) and Sakurazuka Seishirou (Mith), artbook versions (these ones, specifically, and I believe mullenkamp is bringing Hokuto along, too?)
Saturday is for Final Fantasy XII -- Ashe (me), Vayne (Mith), Drace (Linden), and you should see a Dr. Cid (redmagejerry), a Basch (akatonbo), and a Venat and/or a Larsa (mullenkamp) kicking around, too.
Sunday is for Hetalia -- England (me), America (Mith), and France (Linden), 1940s versions, though I think we're doing it sans flags unless we can find some way to mount them with what we're actually bringing to ACen-slash-what we can find there.
