I made this http://vegweb.com/recipes/tofu/4214.shtml for dinner monday night and I would give it a big OK. Wasn't super delicious, wasn't bad. I probably would add more spices and eat it with broccoli next time (we just had the tofu with rice). I decided I will not go out for lunch once this week because I HATE wasting money on lunch and also it is the tundra outside, as mentioned in previous entry. Going out for lunch is such a massive waste of money because it isn't extra enjoyable in any way- we just get food then eat it at the table at work, so its not any more special than having a sandwhich I brought from home. Also all the places around us are really expensive and I end up spending $8 unless I get the $3.50 grilled cheese with tomato from Brett's, which I do not consider a healthy lunch. So this week I packed a sandwhich on Monday, but then we ordered CPK (california pizza kitchen, my work is obsessed with their $9 salads) so I didn't pass up the free lunch and saved the sandwhich for eating today. It was delish and tomorrow I'll bring the leftover lemon tofu and rice (see how this entry is coming full circle?) then thursday and friday I can do sandwhics again or bring amy's burritos. Although Amy's burritos have to be purchashed they don't count as eating out since they are as cheap as packing lunch.
For dinner tonight I had PBJ, which christopher put way too much peanut butter on that glopped out the side which made me feel a little grossed out. I'm obsessed with the peanut-butter covered preztels they sell in the bulk bins at whole foods. And that concludes my recent dietary consumption.
