So exciting!! It makes sense that it's easier with bangs. The shorter hair is lighter and probably easier to puff up. It takes a lot of practice. I'm glad it's working for you!!

what you need are push combs. i'm pretty sure that is the only thing they are good for but they are verrryy good for it. basically you tease your bangs, pull them straight back away from your forehead, and then stick the push comb in backwards, toward your forehead. it sounds stupid when i explain it but i will look around for a diagram or something. anyway, it makes it a lot easier and i am really clumsy with bobby pins.
