A quick summary of my time in new york:
The museums in order from most to least favorite:
1) MoMA (the design!)
2) The Noguchi Museum (beautiful)
3) The Met (everything)
4) The Whitney (calder!)
5) Cooper-Hewitt (so dissapointing because it was only textiles)
And that's all that I can remember right now.
Also I had two things that I wanted to happen that did
1) See a famous person: I saw Gideon Yago. Seeing famous people is the most boring thing ever, which I didn't know as it has never happened to me before. You just say "oh". I know, he's hardly famous which makes it even less exciting. I have no desire to see more famous people. OK that is a huge lie because I really really want to see Jeff Tweedy in chicago.
2) Run into someone I know: Ran into a friend from syracuse! I seriously had my eyes peeled for syracuse people since I knew that would be the most likely and I spotted her! It was so fun to see her, she was in new york for the summer doing a fashion internship with natori and she told me she goes to Wash U and still keeps in touch with the other summer college people who go there (who were also good friends of mine). Of course the facebook came up very quickly and I added her as soon as I got back. Oh, college.
