band festival today went well. we received straight ones. this year's program was quite easy so i figured we would do well anyway. states would be a bad idea considering that (no one) wants to go, but we'll see.
this week was rather lucrative. i received a lot of money for my birthday, i found one dollar yesterday on the ground, and today i went to starbucks and ordered a white mocha frappuccino but the 'barista' thought i said a mocha lite frappuccino and he didn't charge me the extra 50 cents that the white mocha costs. so i guess it wasn't that much money but it was exciting nonetheless.
update: so i got a bulletin board for my birthday that i asked my dad to put up but he forgot so i decided that i would. i couldnt find the level so i just kinda eyeballed it. i then proceeded to make a few lines on the wall and mark where the stupid hanger things on the back were. then i put some screws into the drywall and went to hang up the board. the screws were too close together so i had to manipulate the hooks twice to get it to actually stay on. it wasnt anywhere close to being level so i went to tap the bottom a little bit and it fell off. i finally got it looking pretty good and stabalized(i think) and went to wipe off the pencil from the wall. pencil doesnt come off walls all that easily. fuck that, i suppose i'm not handy after all.
