No school for 1.5 days.
Long bus rides with nothing to do but the jellyfish book, random songs and singing them with jessie, mafia, alia's astrology, dan feng's weirdness, and basically no completed homework. Also stupid movies, too much air conditioning, jon chou stacking cups, harsha and mark duhaime's singing, and OHHHHHHHHH....OOOOHHHHHHH. :)
Rooming with Jessie, Emily, and Alia. Chris Petras calling all the time for alia when she's not in, Matt Kole calling because he wants to annoy alia who isnt in the room, and more of Harsha's singing. Girl talk making us tired in the morning.
Running around the entire hotel saying hi and talking to everyone. Going up and down one set of stairs at least 30 times in 2 hours because people got boring. Dueling with Chris and Ben in the hall and getting the spoils of war. and more mafia which i didnt stay around for. Trips to the gift shop for ice cream. Walking around the first floor learning stuff about feminist books, accounting, and Indian customs.
Shopping with jessie and emily just to find out that the huge mall has no starbucks. Getting around that dilemma by sneaking two blocks away and getting starbucks, making everyone else completely jealous. Not buying anything except a cheap 'purity' ring that i can now stick on my middle finger and flick people off, while being ironic and hypocritical. Next day leading a group to starbucks because i know where it is. getting a frappuchino for myself and one for michelle only to find out that we cant take the drinks into the dome. meaning that i had to drink both, causing me to fell really sick and making a bet that i can give up starbucks for 3 weeks. day 1 is over and i feel alright.
Marching really badly at Nationals and getting a II. just thankful we didnt make semis because that would only mean more work for a group of people who seemingly gave up 4 weeks ago.
Last competition with the mellies, which is actually really sad. Hot texans. Not falling. First and last national competition for me.
