(no subject)
hey peeps,
it's been forever since I posted, mostly b/c I haven't had a computer in my room for a super long time. fortunately, my dad got an old computer from work and I now have internet and microsoft word so life is good again.
I'm super busy with classes and my internship. I have my placement at Family Support Line 3 days a week and then class 2 days a week. class is awesome, minus my policy class which BLOWS. the professor is a fucking dumb ass and I just learned that the grant I was going to write doesn't exist anymore.... AWESOME. it's half way thru the semester and I'm back at square one. cool. that prof can suck it. Other than that one class though, I like my professors and classes. my placement is pretty cool, it's been kind of slow but I'm getting my first two clients on friday and then I'm going to an elementary school to do my first personal safety presentation so I'm pretty nervous about that, but we'll see what happens.
I also got a part-time job at linvilla orchards in the pumpkin patch weighing pumpkins. it's totally awesome! bullshit outdoor work and get paid. it's great. people should visit me! I'm working all week and weekend and there's an all you can carry pumpkins for $20.00 sat and sun.
but I gtg b/c I have a lot of work to do on this GD grant!
