quick update....:)
just a quick update to let everyone know about things. Things have been going greta with brendan and myself. We decided to stay in NY(home) for another month, and go back to daytona at the end of july, then a week after we get there we are going to Hawaii with my mom and dad which is a total dream come true. I didn't think we'd be going for a long time, but we've all decided that it was a good time. I can't wait either.
I think also at the end of the month we're going to six flags with a friend from maryland too, but we'll see...not a definite but we've been there before so it wont be heartbreaking if we cant go again ne ways.
Brendan and I have had one meeting this week with a place for a reception for the wedding whihc we have finally i think picked a definite date. That date being December 29th, 2006, whihc is a friday. We want to be married at the church in town we grew up to going so im gonna call there and set up something and save the date there before we go back down. We were going to wait to do most of this is december when we come back up for chrsitmas vacation, but a lot of people we are looking to have a reception at say that they fill up fast and even a year and a half in advance, so we're doing that now. I will reserve the church and the reception hall before we go back... Tomarrow we have one more appt at another place, we've heard good things about both places so we'll see and make a decision soon enough. We're looking at Mohegan Manor, and the Empire Room at the syracuse fairgrounds. I've heard that the Empire Room is better, but I will know tomarrow around noon.
I have lots and lots of ideas for the wedding, and am gettin a lot of wedding books for those ideas. Im really happy that we are going to have it in december bc its been a dream, even tho it'll be snowing and cold and everything, but i think its a great time and its cheaper and just more romantic in my opinion to be married in the fall/winter months. Then you're not as hot and cliche so to speak, just my own personal expeience tho, eveyone i know as gotten married in the spring and summer, and i got bored with it bc it was the same things all the time. I have so many great ideas so if ne one wants to give advice or see what im thinking, feel free to give or ask....that would be awesome.
In other good news, our engagament part is this sat. my parents are throwing it for us....they invited close family and friends...but even with that is 30-40 people just for drinks and snacks. It's gonna be good tho, and its here at my house at around 7, im pretty excited for it. I have new pictures to post but i will as soon as i ge them on here, which hopefully i will do this wekened. I work friday and i took the weekend off for this party..so at least i have free time this wekeend, wich is the first weekend in 3 weeks i ahvent had to work. But oh well....ne ways thats what is up for now...please feel free to comment, again, with advice or o hear my ideas...i could use ne help or just a listener lol.....i think my fiance is gettin tired of it hahahah JK hes into it but obviosuly hes a guy so its not the same ...you all know im sure.
