I assure you, this won't hurt a bit.
Personally, I've found that with a taste for beer and salty accompaniments, I've gone from skinny to trim to pert to a little podgy. Well, quite podgy.
So I'm going to try a very simple thing to get my weight down, a few pounds a week. No particular goals. No drastic weightloss fads, no stress. I love food too much.
I'm going to eat as much pasta, rice, vegetables and spuds as I want. I'm going to reduce my bread (oh, toast! I love you!) and flour intake. I eat very little meat, but I'm going to reduce that too. And try to keep to a few tablespoons of oil/butter every day.
I'd like to eat less sugar, and I don't eat chocolate much at all, but I can't go without sugar in tea.
That would be an abomination.
