Patron of the arts
This weekend I bought my first original art. A piece by Kerry Darlington. It is a tree very similar to the one on her website called tree of life. Mine is in one piece and is more reds and golds, very earthy. It looks amazing in my lovely new living room with my fab red blinds and my new sofas. I keep looking at it and smiling. I have been looking at the blank space on the wall since October thinking it needed something and the something it has received, far exceeds my expectations and makes me very happy. My camera has not recovered from its trip to Kili, but I will take a photo to let you have a look at how fab it is. When I went into the gallery I felt like such a dork, "I want that one". When I left the lady said "Congratulations on starting your art collection". Such a grown up thing to do. Buy 'Art'.
