Murphy has a sore eye.

Originally uploaded by puddockWhen I came back from my holidays. Murphy greeted me at the car. I noticed my handsome cat wasn't quite right. He had his right eye closed and there was yellow stuff oozing from it. We got back in the car and went to the vets. He has an ulcer on his eye. Probably caused by cat claws. He got an antibiotic injection and an antiinflammatory injection and some eyedrops. I have to give him two tablets a day and eye drops three times a day. I have realised that this cat is too big for my normal cat pilling method. I have managed so far while he is still a bit subdued, but tomorrow when he is feeling a bit better I am not too hopeful. The eye is already looking a lot better than it did yesterday. Thankfully. He was not too keen to pose while he isn't looking his best. Vain cat.
