Sunflowers

There's no point trying to photograph sunflowers. Firstly, they're quite hard to photograph. Secondly, no matter the results, Van Gogh will always have done them better. But, hey, I have a passion for pointless photography.

And at least I got to drive down a road I had never followed before, up onto the downs behind Charlton Marshall, then down the long narrow lane to Gorcombe Farm, which is mostly known for hosting extreme sports - quad biking and go-carting, paint-balling and archery, and such - but which has a free sunflower trail you can walk along at this time of year.

Very regimented flowers, sunflowers. All turning to face the sun. Which makes for some monotonous photographs.
