Title: Portable Gifts
Words: 100
Rating: PG
Author’s Notes: The is endlessly sappy and not at all like me, unfortunately it wrote itself and refuses to be rewritten.
Ginny had started the tradition, on Harry’s seventeenth birthday, giving him a gift he could take with him. They had finally reunited the week before her seventeenth and Harry’s ‘gift’ to her that year was a treasured one. Each year, from then on, they made the effort to give each other a ‘portable’ gift - in addition to the kind that came in wrapping paper.
Some years it was a romantic date, other years a weekend all to themselves, together they had fulfilled fantasies and explored kinks. Each birthday added to a lifetime of memories and love that bound them together.
