Goodbye USA it was nice to visit you.

I love to travel and for the past 10 years, I have been making 2-3 trips to the USA a year. I have been down to NY and to Massachusetts to follow Randy's plays and to Las Vegas once or twice a year but I'm not going to be able to make myself go through those new airport body scanners just so I can fly down there anymore. I don't care if people are saying the person is viewing it is off in another room, I know while I'm standing there that someone is looking (sniggering) at my "parts" and that just makes me too uncomfortable. No matter what they say, I think you can see too much, just look at the view of someone's spare tire:

I also don't believe they are not going to save the images.
I have put up with them scanning my eyeballs, taking my fingerprints and patting me down for the last few years but I am drawing the line at this.
I've been told to "suck it up princess, it's more important that everyone is safe from terrorism - if you don't like it, you don't have to go on a plane". True, so I'm not going to go on a plane.
It's not that I have anything to hide like others have stated. I just don't like it.
I bought airline tickets to Los Angeles for February 16 before all this came down and I am crossing my fingers that these scanners won't be installed in my airport by then. This will be my last chance to see Gale or Randy in a play unless they come to Canada to do one (yeah, right). If it's close enough, I may drive but it won't be convenient.
