I challenge anyone who think they had a break worse than me.
Not only was my mom hit by a car that took off but the break in at my Berkeley apt that happened pre-New Year resulted in over $1000 worth of stuff gone missing. The thief was smart in not taking my computer and LCD, but he hit it big with my jewelry, watches, and miscellaneous things that will cost me to replace. All the stuff was barely noticeable and the police did not investigate because they thought nothing was taken. The scumbag even took my backpack and my flashlight as aids in his/her crime.
I have become ridiculously cynical and pessimistic about society and nothing is going to remove the prejudices that I now hold towards the communities of Berkeley, and Oakland and its principle inhabitants.
Seriously...My home is not even safe anymore...they broke in from the fire escape through my bathroom window!!
How desperate and ambitious do you have to be to go to those lengths??
