Don't mind me... I'm just a puddle of fangirl.
The nice thing about LJ is the creation of communities and connections... but sometimes I want to admire from afar. This is just an easy way for me to have an digest of the LJ entries of all the cool people that fall prey to my fangirlish tendencies without blatantly exposing the un-cool whining I generally spout in my personal LJ, or subjecting the objects of my fascination to the plethora of idiotic meme results in which I often indulge. This is also an attempt to obscure my amazing lack of creative production with tremendous amounts of devout worship of Things-That-Are-Awesome, a practice which has the potential to border on the ridiculous and/or the slightly embarrassing. Here I also keep track of communities which have a high volume of posting that I did not want cluttering my friends page, or are simply of interest to the-fan-within and are thus worth shadowing.
Essentially, I'm trying to group most of the things on Livejournal related to my fandom activities in one spot. It's just infinitely easier this way.
If I find the time to succumb to the urge, I may use this as a fanfiction journal of sorts, but I wouldn't hold your breath...
