The girl without the boy: day one
The day started with stirring out of a dreamless sleep to a 7:30AM buzzing alarm clock. Eight AM swings by and sweeps the boy from the girl's embrace. The girl not knowing what to do stares at the computer like a zombie looking for flesh in a silk flower factory after close. She stirs about 45 minuets later deciding to go back to bed. Crawling into bed she steels the boys pillow and falls back into sleep.
Awaking, at 1:30PM, out of a dream about eating cat food and Blue Skies Music festival she wanders the apartment eventually ending up back at the computer room. Looking up flight info, hotel info, and time changes and exchanges and even bank statements to reach out to the boy she comes away with calling her friend in Montreal. They chat, for a very long time, when the girl gets a beep from the other line. The girl lets her friend living in Montreal go thinking that the person on the other line must be the boy, the timing seems right for when he was to call, but alas it was an employee letting her know about some work stuff.
The girl, who had not yet eaten anything today, had a wonderful plan about starting Veganism on this very same day; miss calculated and realized after she made her tea that not only she put milk in but Honey as well. She also discovered that there are two kinds of cheese in the fridge and the pesto also has milk ingredients. Being one for not wanting to waste good food she decided to try this Vegan stuff maybe tomorrow.
She is thinking about playing or reading something. what to do?
