More words!
Since my last post, he's added a few, and I forgot some that he's been saying a while.
signs: squirrel, horse, truck, rabbit, alligator, elephant, please
words: uh oh, yuck, broom, keys, step, boo (boobie)
noises: meow, purr, vroom, panting
We're almost up to 40 words! More, if you count the ones I'm still forgetting :)
He is climbing really well, too! And he gives the best hugs. We babysat the neighbor girl, Audrey (almost 3 yo) today, and he kept trying to hug her. She got tired of it after three times and started saying, so sweetly, "no more hugs please, baby Oscar!" I told her to run away when she sees him coming because she can outrun him. She did, and they both had a great time.
It was a very long day but I think I worked out some kinks over the course of it that will make it a lot easier in the future. Audrey's little brother, Liam, is in the hospital and they don't know when he's coming home. His mom is there with him almost full time. I'm probably taking Audrey 2 days next week.
My trip to Louisiana was great. I am so happy I got to spend time with friends and family. Grimmy was content most of the time, which was a huge surprise. I realized when I got home that on the trip I was pretty much devoted to making sure he was happy, and when I got home I had to do house stuff and run errands and all the stuff that takes attention away from him. So our first day back was a bit of an adjustment for us. Also on the trip there was a ton of new, exciting stuff to wear him out with. :)
Not sure if I mentioned this but I decided to get a Mirena, not the copper IUD. Sometime in the next few weeks this will happen.
