I let my paid account lapse by accident and then was like, enh, I don't need the paid features. Except I discovered being able to post pics from my phone is a paid thing, so maybe I'll renew. Maybe. I can always link to them on flickr.

Poor me: I couldn't take O to daycare and clean the house because he was sick last week. He's still got fever

I've been on Livejournal for nine years now, and in all that time, I keep on thinking "I would like to get a paid account"...but I keep on realizing I have other things to do with that money. Or perhaps it is just inertia on my part.

I think I have been on here since 2000. Wow.
Some people value journaling as a way to be able to look back at their past life. But I really have no interest in what I've said before. Is that weird?

Not really. Sometimes it is more to crystallize your thoughts in the moment.

I do sometimes go back and ready my entries, and it is interesting if nothing else.

I hate reading things I've written because I always wish I had said more, or I think what I said was irrelevant. I leave out a lot of context and my storytelling skills are not very good. Also, I am all about moving forward these days, and sitting around with my nose in the past doesn't do much for that goal.
