Finally got to see
Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End tonight and you know what?
I didn't find it too bad at all, really interesting section with Jack - in what I thought was purgotry (excuse my spelling) but was instead something quite intriguing. The only part I thought was a massive mistake was the small Jacks.
That sequence I mention though was reasonably contemporary, but not in a shit way, in a different way for a film of such this calibre -i..e. Hollywood that doesn't always bother to dare to do something different.
I think with all the hype of how disappointing it was I'd hate it more, despite the fact I thought the second was an exact copy of the first - more or less - in different situations it actually overcame my pre-conceptions and made me like it.
Not awe inspiring, not world claimingly amazing, but entertaining enough, probably with a little more brain than the previous ones despite a probable excess of talk.
Anyway, yeah, nay too shabby!
Savvy?
