From Russia With Love Part V

You liked last night's first glance at Moscow? Then get ready for the sequel...

Back at the Red Square: Grave of the Unknown Soldier

Inside the GUM (more to come next time):

The GUM and Basilius Cathedral at dusk:

Utterly beautiful, huh?

At the evening of the match Russia vs. Portugal. "Potentially dangerous" football fans in the foreground and security measures in the background (yes, they were merely against hooligans and this is only half the mass of soldiers in the frame). The inner city was flooded with military and police all of a sudden. Wonder what the security measures would be, if there was a big screen for the public somewhere or a championship to be hosted... :)

Inside Kreml:

Belltower Big Iwan with the Zar's Bell on the ground:

Governmental building:

Zar's Canon:

The Senate:

Examples for the beauty of Moscow Metro:

Vernisasch - an artists' streetmarket:

Animal skins and furs are still a cultural normalcy here:

Stay tuned - tomorrow we will say goodbye to Moscow (and Russia) with a few last impressions.
