From Russia With Love Part II

Yes, rejoice here comes the next bunch of pictures from my highly educational trip ;)

On top of Isaak Cathedral with all those happy vertigo free tourists:

The seaport at the horizon:

Inside the Eremitage where there are not only stately rooms and more tourists but also a huge collection of art and artefacts started by Catherine:

I wouldn't mind living there if only I had a cleaning man or woman ;)

Flirty carriage :)

Those doorknobs would not go well with my furniture though...

Get your sunglasses ready, there is more gold to come...

Behold, the throne! (copy of the original of course)

A clock (!) made in England (!) :) At the strike of the hour the peacock used to spread its tailfeathers, the owl would open and close its eyes, the cock would crow and the squirrel crack nuts. Cool, huh? I want one!

Would that go with my furniture? *scratches head*

View of the Eremitage from the River Neva (the turquoise building):

The Church of the Saviour's Blood once more (from the outside and inside):

Make sure you stay tuned, for next time it will be Catherine's Palace... Zar Nikolaij, remember? No? But you remember that Rasputin was filmed there, huh? ;)
