Lucky man - he got to see Cohen and much earlier than I. Of course, we all knew Alan had some good taste in music and poetry. And actually, is there anybody of Alan's generation on those European islands up there who has not tried to grab a ticket?
I wonder if the fact that Alan was there will make some people run to the ticket vendors now - even if they do not know who Cohen is ;)
