long time no write

Updates:
Ellie has gone from jumping onto my lap for the first time the other day, to mostly ignoring myself and Paul yesterday and today.
Paul has been off sick feeling shattered.
I've got an appointment tommorrow with a lady from Medical Records to show me what they get up to, (ho ho) and whether I could cope doing their job as a Filing Clerk.
My ability to type has suddenly gone downhill in the past couple of days.
I've not been on WoW, I just can't be arsed, so no Proto drake for me next year at any rate, damned acheivements.
Blob has arrived. Urgh.
Spent a lovely couple of days in London, and my first time driving there. Giffneys housemate Dave had a birthday last week, so one of their friends offered to run Cthulhu for them, and they invited us, so we had a whole day of tabletopping on Saturday, with mixed success, didn't finish the adventure, and left a packet of unopened Malteasers there. Damn. Cut up a Maserati on the way there on Friday night though, so that was cool. London is a scary place to drive round in my little silver box. Came back Sunday night, and during the day, it had snowed. Joy, driving back though London and up the M1 in the snow. Not fun. Knackering more like. Specially as the windscreen wipers were doing a crap job of keeping my view clear, so I crouched behind the steering wheel to see through the 3 inches clearance I had above the dash most of the way home. Didn't help my headache either. I don't get it, the past 2 times I've been to London, it's snowed down there. Typical.
Wardrobe from Ikea is finally up.
Dining table from Argos (!) is up and has been sworn at by Paul for being not that well made. One of the drill holes for the dowels to sit in for the top part had a solid bit of wood in the way, so it split the top layer a bit. Argos are out of stock, but have offered to replace it IIRC. Pete's one was ok though.
Big LRP trunks are now under the loft bed desk and not looking too ugly.
Paul got some ironing done... go Paul!
I've got Karens computer up and running, but not playing Wow yet, and it doesn't like some of our DVDs... it likes Battle Star Galactica though, but not Casshern, Flirtong Scholar, Spiderman 2, Kagemusha and Let the Blood Run Free. Perhaps it has a taste chip? Or is the drive too old and can't cope with a few of the discs? Maplins has Dvd players for pcs for about £25, and the secondary HDD failed, and there isn't enough room on the primary to install WoW. Pete is going to have a look to see if any of the carcasses he has at the bungalow can be rendered to produce more than a 10 GB HDD. A drive from Maplins, minimum size is 40 Gb for about £40 and a 80 for £50. I can afford neither currently due to my sick pay reduction and my inability to fill in forms so that I can get some more sick pay.
Pete heard BT buggered up his address so will be another week without internet: Sky won't install their stuff till some BT database has his details or something like that. Oh, and his lift is knackered as well. He's walking 40 mins from work, and up several flights of stairs currently. I hope the lift gets fixed soon. And he's just finished the Lighter Life diet again. So he's at about 16/17 stone I think he said. I can't beleive how quick he's lost the weight this time, but it has been stupidly cold, he's gotten a divorce and moved house.
We were thinking of heading to a LRP on the 13th-15 th in  Glocester, which is in Iron Age style huts, with fires, and some fairy stuff going on, but we figured it's TOO DAMN COLD and we're a bit skint.
Out to RP again tommorrow night, I'm hoping we're somewhere near the end of this campagn. I wish to do little but snuggle at home currently so need to be a bit careful I don't sink into old habits again.
Had my Campbell House review after the CBT group thing, score was 25, now 6 :D feeling wuite a lot better due to cat influx, and helping move Pete. Being out a lot of the time stops you being in and moping, or withdrawing.
Washed hair today as well, and have lovely new clean sheets to dive into. Beautiful deep red set from IKEA and the fuckers are discontinuing it. Either: IKEA or the British populace are IDIOTS for not buying this fantastic bedding. What red is left? Orange. That is the only red left. Choices are Purple, which is also gorgeous, beige...  cream... and orange. Not even a decent green FFS. Still, I love this bedding and it is very much like a womb, so much so, we have gone back to using one huge duvet, and not two singles. The bed format prevents duvets slippage off the side of the bed so no duvet hogging occurs. I'm not sure they planned it like that, as the bars are also condusive to not falling 5 foot out of bed. Paul will be shoring it up a tad with some leftover wood from Pete's summerhouse.
Had a lovely chat with a friend tonight on MSN whilst watching yet another episode of BSG, whereupon I mostly eyed up the gorgeous birds :D
Got to thinking about delicious G once more. I swear I'm addicted to him. Had never realised quite how nice spooning was.
Anyway, I feel very sleepy as someone woke me up with Cinnamon Rolls this morning. Not as good as Cinnabon, still damn nice. Forgot to turn off oven for 4 hours.... ooops.
Yes, sleep, and dreams of our kite once more.
