back in torronna after a 5 day trip to California to see taeryn's parents and gramma. folks are good. got dad hooked on oblivion and mom kept stuffing food in our mouths and money in our pockets every time we looked away...
gramma has a raisin ranch near Fresno and man was it hot out there. i clocked the heat at 105 degrees at one point...wheee-ew. we went to the sunmaid plant and got a history of raisin growing on vhs that we watched at a family bbq. i think i had ribs more than 3 times in the 5 days we were there lol! also had fish tacos (mmmmm!) and tri-tip steak at a mexican place called bobby's. food was just awsome. anyone ever hear of coldstone creamery? it's probably my favourite icecream store ever. the premise here is they get you to order a scoop or two of their delicious cream and then they have a salad bar style counter where you tell them what extras you want on it. kitkat bars, oreos, brownies, graham crackers, jelly beans, reese's pieces etc..you get the picture. then they crush the toppings into your ice cream that they have squashed out on this frozen marble counter. they mix it all up and give it to you on any of their wonderful cone choices (yeah they got em all). i ate so much i thought i was gonna puke. then we went to see mission impossible heheh. kinda dumb but boy it was loud! i likes loud stuff. i want our attic to be loud....really loud.
speakin of which, our attic is getting closer to completion and i am itchin to furnish heheh. gonna be lookin for sound and sight choices, so if ya have any input - have at it.
