This movie was originally a 3-D production, which is why you see all the oddly positioned characters, and why the soldiers were poking their . . poles . . through the screen. You also miss all the fireworks, special effects, and such that actually occurred in the theater.
This is how I think Michael Jackson wanted to be portrayed and possibly remembered. Talented, wearing bizarre but, at the time, trendy clothing, and saving the world through dancing and 'hooooo!'s
