* Something shiny beckons Puck's attention, and he frowns when he sees Kurt Hummel walking into the music room, a sparkling tiara set neatly on his perfect hair.
Kurt sits down one seat away from Puck, crosses his legs and folds his hand on his lap, chin tilted up slightly as he sends a smile across the room at Finn.
Fucking Finn, Puck thinks. What is it about that oaf that makes Kurt Hummel prance around like a bitch in heat? Well, Puck's had about enough of this ridiculousness.
So, the moment everyone files out of Glee practice for the day, Puck marches over and plucks the tiara from Kurt's head, making the boy spin around and screech like a cat at him.
"Hey! Give that back!"
Puck dangles it out in front of him. "Make me," he challenges.
Kurt stands up, his chest puffing out a little. "I'm not going to fight you, nor am I going to beg," he says. "Just, please, Puck. It was my mother's."
Well, shit, Puck thinks, looking down at the tiara in his hand. "Why are you wearing it today?" he asks.
"It's her birthday," Kurt says. "Every year on my birthday, she'd tell me I was a gorgeous prince and that one day I'd fall in love with a beautiful princess. I think she always knew I was gay, but she never made me feel like I was different."
Puck sets the tiara back on Kurt's head and then smiles. "It suits you, Princess," he teases lightly, and Kurt blushes, ducking his head. It's all a little surreal for Puck, and he can't seem to stop himself from reaching out and touching Kurt's chin, tilting his face up. "I may not be no Prince Charming, but I'm all you've got." At that, he leans in and presses his lips against Kurt's, surprised that it doesn't gross him out. In fact, it's really kind of hot, and if Kurt's little breathy sigh is any indication, Kurt's not complaining.
Later, as Kurt's naked, save for the tiara, Puck realizes that he may be no Prince Charming, but he sure as hell found his happily ever after. At least for now.
End.
