It started when they accidentally bumped into each other, as Puck went later than usual into the office kitchen to grab and reheat his lunch. Kurt had just tossed out his trash and on his way out, empty lunch bag in hand.
Kurt put up his hands automatically, landing on Puck's chest, while Puck's right arm landed on Kurt's hip. After a couple of startled seconds, staring into each other's eyes, Puck laughed and stepped back to let Kurt through.
The next day, and many days that followed, Puck went to the kitchen to have lunch on time, and Kurt, who was new to the Marketing department, was always there, just taking his lunch out of the microwave.
It became their thing. To have lunch together, talking about anything and everything, getting to know each other. They were friends. Office friends. Office friends that flirted.
Until the day they bumped into each other again in the supply closet, much in the same way as that first time. Only this time Puck didn't move back to let Kurt through. This time he pushed him back in, and locked the door behind them.
