20 minutes later, New Directions has piled into their green room, still jumping around, celebrating once again beating the Warblers during Regionals. Rachel has a death grip on their trophy, and Kurt guesses that if she's feeling dramatic enough, she'll tell Mr. Schue he'll only take it from her cold, dead fingers.
Laughing at the image of it in his head, he walked over towards Finn, giving his step-brother a slightly awkward high five (just to keep his enthusiasm up), before he falls (gracefully) onto the couch behind them. They're all sweaty and tired, but too happy to care.
Before Finn can sit next to Kurt on the couch, Puck threw himself on it, sprawling to take all the remaining space. Thankfully, Finn was too hyped up and excited to care, he just kept on bouncing on his heels and bent down to give Puck a 'playful' punch on the arm. By the way Puck grabbed at his arm afterward, Kurt knew Finn still didn't know how to do that softly.
"Dude! Dude, Kurt, we did it! We did it again, we won Regionals! We beat the Warblers!"
"Well, yes, you did it again. I, on the other hand, lost Regionals last year, remember?"
Finn looked at him wide-eyed. "Shit, yeah. Man, I'm so glad you're with us this year, Kurt! We really missed you while you were with the Warblers."
"I'm glad to be back, too, Finn."
"Speaking of the Stuffy McWarblers, where's your boy, Kurt?" Puck asked as he lifted his head to look around the room.
"Blaine went to say hi to his Dalton friends. He didn't do it before the competition because we thought Rachel would probably pop a vein or get a stress ulcer or something." Kurt said, rolling his eyes. He glanced across the room and smirked. "Much like the one Mr. Schue is going to get if Rachel keeps hugging that trophy."
At the mention of his girlfriend, Finn turned (first his upper half, then his hips and legs, as if he'd forgotten he needed to move his legs to walk) and hurried over, probably to try and talk sense into her.
A couple of minutes later, most of the girls have gathered up their bags with clothing changes and are on their way to the girls locker room to change out of their costumes. Just as the door is swinging shut behind Mercedes, there's a knock and one of the Warblers poke their head into the room.
"Kurt!"
Looking up, Kurt smiles at his once team mates, gets up off the couch to greet the three Warblers coming into the room.
"Nick, Thad, Trent! You guys were great, really! It's nice to see you!"
Trent, the chubbier of the Warblers, gave Kurt a quick hug, then looked pointedly around the room. "We were hoping to say hi to Blaine. We didn't get a chance before the performances."
"He went to meet you guys in your green room. He wasn't there?' Kurt frowned at them, then turned slightly when he felt someone stand behind him. Seeing Puck over his shoulder he turned back to the other guys. "He went like 5 or 10 minutes ago," he said, confused.
"Oh, well, we must missed each other. He might be there waiting for us so we'll just go back. It was nice seeing you again, Kurt," Nick said too quickly, leading the other two boys away, barely letting them wave goodbye.
"Are you that worried that they're going to convince him to go back to that stuffy school?" Puck asked out of the blue.
"What? No. Why did you ask that?"
"You're obviously worried about something."
"No... no, it's... I'm not."
"Uh huh. Let's just go find your boy, so we can all get changed and leave," Puck said, opening the door for Kurt and leading the way down the hall.

They found the Warbler's green room, and a quick glance was more than enough to see that Blaine (in their costumes' bright red shirts) was nowhere within the sea of blue Dalton uniforms. The frown in Kurt's face turned into a full blown scowl as they continued down the hall. Murmured voices drew them down towards a side corridor, where Kurt and Puck stopped short at the sight of Blaine being pressed against the wall by Sebastian, hands tangled in the taller boy's hair as they kissed.
Puck reacted first, stridding towards them and pulled Sebastian roughly off of Blaine. Before they could say anything, Puck slammed his fist into Blaine's nose with a sickening crunch. Spurred by Puck's actions, Kurt stepped towards the Warbler, and with all the strenght he once used to score a winning field goal, he kicked Sebastian in the groin.
The smirk was wiped off his face, replaced with agonized scream as he dropped to the floor, grabbing himself.
"We are done," he spat at Blaine, and turned on his heel, head raised high, taking the strenght he needed to do so from the boy walking besides him, from Puck. From his friend.
End
