He figures its about as good a place as any to tell your boyfriend that you're pregnant. It's serene, it's full of beautiful naturey-stuff, and most importantly there are families all around that will be witness to whatever reaction Kurt has to the news. Noah doesn't think that anything is going to happen, but this is a scary thing to tell your boyfriend who just got a new job at a place he doesn't exactly love working at, but loves the places it can get him. Rationally, he knows that this will all go fine, that Kurt may react wildly at first, but on a very rare occasion they've talked about this...having children, and Kurt was always in favor.
Sitting down on a bench overlooking the pond in the middle of the park, Noah puts his hand in Kurt's. He knows it's a message that Kurt will get that they need to talk about something important.
"Kurt?"
"Yeah"
"I'm pregnant"
"..."
"I know, it's freaky, but I was kind of hopping that we could be happy about this?"
"You're sure?"
"Yeah went to the doctors two days ago"
"Oh,"
They sat silently after that. Noah wasn't worried, or at least he kept telling himself that he shouldn't be worried. Kurt just needed a minute to think. Having a baby wasn't exactly something that didn't require thought.
"You know this means you can't have coffee for the next nine months?"
"Yeah, I know"
"Then I'm good if you are,"
