30 Photographs - Betrayal, PG-13hey_doey_doeyJune 11 2011, 13:39:06 UTC
This is in the same ‘verse as Kurt and Noah, August 1998 and Kurt and Noah, August 2018. :) When Puck gets to school, there are way too many people staring at him. He barely has time to try an intimidate an answer out of the chess club nerd gaping at him before Jacob Ben-Israel shoves a mic in his face

AWWW. I really hate hating Karofsky, but it's so hard not to when he did what he did in this fic.
I love how Kurt offered help and support, and I hope Dave gets his. Kurt's cunning mind plus Puck's badassness could only equal one seriously deadly prankster team.

A/N: this is a continuation of ‘Cold’, the first of my (haha) drabbles. I’m so sorry it’s so long - I couldn’t stop myself.
VisitsPuck hadn’t been lying when he said he was okay, that he had only hit his head. Kurt probably thought he was dying or something, when really he should have been worrying about himself

The small waiting room outside of the ICU is filled with various families all sitting in little pockets on the lush leather couches. As Puck leans back and sinks into his seat, he wonders if the hospital thought that a comfortable waiting room would actually make people feel better about severely sick or injured loved ones

The ICU room is filled with the sound of soft voices and the beeps of heart monitors. Puck walks passed two curtained-off beds before he sees the familiar figure of his boyfriend laid out to his left. A nurse is standing by his head adjusting an IV line and checking a machine’s output.
Puck walks slowly forward, eyes locked on the high cheekbones and the stark contrast between the dark circles around Kurt’s eyes and the pallor of the rest of his skin. There is something about the white sheets and blue blanket that seem to sap the sass and strength that characterizes Kurt from the other boy, leaving him small and fragile-looking on the bed. It hurts Puck more than he imagined to see all of the reasons he calls Kurt ‘Princess’ dimmed away

30 Kisses #11 - FirstfrolicandfallJune 11 2011, 13:50:14 UTC
No one has ever looked at Puck like this before. Kurt looks at him like he is something special; something he doesn’t want to lose. He doesn’t look at anybody else the way he looks at Puck.
No one has ever listened to Puck like this before. When Kurt asks Puck how he is feeling he actually cares about the answer.
No one has ever kissed Puck like this before. Kurt’s hands are soft, and they tremble as they cup his cheeks. Kurt’s lips are uncertain as they move over his.
Honestly, all Kurt wanted to do was see a familiar face. He didn’t even care if it was Jewfro. He missed home. Sure, New York was great, but talking on the phone and having Skype chats with others wasn’t working. He couldn’t even look up Rachel because when her class went to London, she ended up being cast in a play and dropping out of the school. He and Blaine had broken up a year ago and Blaine ended up going to LA, not New York.
Kurt Hummel had his dream come true, and he was happy for it. But that never stopped the ache that sometimes took over him. Normally when this would happen, he would go ahead and go home, call someone up or get online and hope someone else is there, and talk. All the while never letting them know how much he wanted to see a familiar face.
He sighed as he walked home, his shoes getting dirty when a taxi drove by, making a puddle spray him. He heard a chuckle, “Dude,” Kurt looked up from his shoes, “I bet that totes didn’t make your day.”

Mercedes did not know she was signing up for a triple date. It was just supposed to be her and her boos, and then they'd run into Sam and he could join them for lunch, but that's it. No pairing off, no card games, definitely no weird discoveries about her best friend and one of the jerks who used to bully him

It didn't make sense while they ate. It didn't make sense while they compared purchases afterwards. It didn't even make sense when Kurt suggested they play a hand of Uno with the deck Puck just bought (which she'll later find out will be "accidentally" left at Sam's motel room because Stacy told Puck all about how much she loves Uno last time he was over there). It only starts to make sense when Puck plays a Draw 2 card against Kurt
