on new shows...
so we've gotten the first draft of our new show for the infringement festival:
a midsummer dyke's dream.
it's funny. and shakespeare. and gay. (but not as gay as the last one.) here's hoping it goes over as well as ramona and juliet...
we're also doing a short for an upcoming production. the whole production is called subversive shorts, and ours is called lindsey. it's a one woman show that l is directing and i'm acting in. it's somewhat of a political bent (the whole production... ours, not so much.) it's about that girl, lindsey, who was abusing prisoners at abu gharib -- the monologue is from her sister's point of view. also funny. but i'm supposed to be about 17... hooray for stage makeup! :)
we also are solidifying plans for the next varlets show after the festivals. it's starting to roll. slowly, but slowly.
