OK, I've been called out. My last blog entry was entirely cut and pasted from a science website because a certain individual (me) had writers cramp. Yep a crampiness in the mind and in the hands. So, I pasted a blurb about energy drinks and alcohol and there you have it. Someone once told me how great the taste of Red Bull and Captain Morgan's Tattoo Rum would be together....I dunno about that yet, but I'll let you know after Easter! (Those that are in the know...will know!)
And that brings us to last night. Ever have a day when even though you have lost everything, something extra special happens and you end up feeling like a winner?
Last night, game 1 of our hockey playoffs turned out not so great. We lost 3-1, and felt kinda bad about all our missed opportunities. Opportunites such as getting the sweet passes to each other, skating faster, and going after the big fat rebounds in front of the goalie. On the upside-we skated better then we did last game (and that was a nail-biter 2-1). Regardless of how this turns out, there will be a summer league that plays on Monday evenings at the Dover Ice Rink, so if you're in the neighborhood-stop by and cheer for your favorite son- Team color TBD!!!
So, anyways, after all was said and done and we were all limping out of the rink (we had a great workout let me tell ya), Kev and I decided to hit the local grocery store for a quick healthy snack and drink. What we found was some sorority chick with her ass hanging out of her gym shorts. Near the Milk cooler. Thinking about it now, she may have been looking for more than groceries, but I was just too damn tired, and for the record, she knows who she is and I'm not divulging the name of the sorority for their sake. The LAST thing they need is some desperate guy on campus hittin' them up at 2 in the morning for a glass of milk!
Well, that's life so far. 5 months 5 days till my next Orlando trip! Got the luggage, got the tickets. Airfare and hotel accommodations are what's left....Gettin' excited and I can't wait!
