the question that i've been pondering lately.....Why is trust such an issue with us?...here's the answer that i came up with....
issue number one: People feel that others lie....this is a true statement....PEOPLE DO LIE....but it seems to me that people only lie...usually....to protect themselves...they don't trust others with their truths...so they make things up...which in turn makes others untrusting...which leads to..
issue number two: a deeper seeded untrust with human kind is the reasoning...i believe...for people to be untruthful with others...we can't get over the fact that our ideas, actions, thoughts, dreams, etc...could be ridiculed, laughed at, stolen....so we keep our real...true feelings to ourselves...hidden...kept safe from the prying, threatening eyes of other that could take advantage of our vunerable inner-selves....we feel the only person we can trust with these things is ourselves...
Danielle's solution: I personally see no true solution to this problem...we're engrained with the thought of "trust no one"....but i think that we can get over that to an extent...people just need to see that not EVERYONE is out to get you...to take advantage of you...trusting someone else makes life a little less lonely...people need to stop living life alone....
these are just the ramblings of a girl with nothing but time to ponder....
