Artist's Notes: This piece was a monster that took me days to complete, and made me want to cry a lot but it was still super fun to draw, I really enjoyed designing Merlin and Arthur's costumes and thinking up the world around them! I love AU, I love sci fi and especially space operas, and I hope some day I can draw more of this AU, or even write a fic to go with it!
Summary : Arthur is a prince from planet Albion, a planet that his father, King Uther, turned from a ruin to a thriving kingdom in less than two decades, mostly thanks to his control of the prison of Ismere on the planet's moon, and a mysterious energy source on the nearby planet of Ascetir. While Uther is away to conquer new planets, with the goal of turning his kingdom into an empire, Arthur meet Merlin, a strange man who turn out to be a member of a rebellion against Uther and who can do things no one should be able to do, like fly and control the energy source that powers Camelot. With his help, and the help of other members of the rebellion, Arthur comes to learn the truth about his kingdom, and the dark secrets Uther hid away. With his whole world turned upside, Arthur has to make tough decision, for himself and his people...
