(no subject)
I felt the urge to make a happy post and not bitch and moan. I'm not sure I'm up to the challenge, but I'll give it a shot. Hey, it's Christmas.
I scored some rare pieces of my Mom's Pfaltzgraff this morning for her for Christmas. eBay is a beautiful thing. And then the seller offered me free shipping on anything else I bought. Which I thought was pretty damn generous given how heavy some of that stuff is.
I pretty much know what I want to get for the rest of my shopping, so I just need to go do it. And best of all Dale promised me a wish list! He's got to be the world's hardest person to buy for! But in lieu of a list, I've got a couple of idea of my own.
The Commissioner threw a little "social" this morning for all of the employees. It was rather nice. They had cookies and punch, an awesome pianist, and Christmas Carol Karaoke. I didn't witness the karaoke, so I have no clue how that went.
The pizza party I planned is today. I go pick up the pizzas here in about a half an hour. A couple of people have taken the time to thank me for doing this, so I guess it was worth while after all.
A complete stranger complimented me on my hair yesterday. And it was a man to boot ... sorry guys ... you don't usually notice things like that.
One of my employees left a leopard print Santa Clause hat for me on my desk this morning. I am now proudly wearing it and lots of cheesy pics of ratherberidin12 and browneyedgirlwv sitting on "Santa's" lap have been taken. Don't worry ratherberidin12 I'm working on that crevice you want for Christmas for the both of us.
Halford is back and in full force ... yes, that means I can't hardly eat again. And yes, I am happy about that for now.
See ... I'm just all sunshine and roses today ... LMAO ....
