Comes To Mind

I woke up with every song from the Sound of Music stuck in my head. This wouldn't be strange if that production had come up recently in my life or I dreamt of something remotely resembling the plot-line, but my dream was actually just as strange yet entirely unrelated. Things I remember:
I was somehow part of a team that could dissemble our own force fields. We could range our physical energy output from entirely invisible to ghostlike. Not the bed sheet kinda ghosts but slightly more vague than a double exposed photo like this one:

We would take it seriously when we were on disguise missions, but the immature still resonated in us and we'd get the giggles every time we spooked people.

Which is now brewing an idea for a new "art" project. Slightly similar-- now that I think about it-- to the one in my pilot Ben and I have been writing.

Speaking of projects-- Kendall and I have an ongoing photo project. I send him five words or phrases a week, and he sends his Photographic Interpretation of each word. Although, last week, as a treat, he sent 30 second sound clips instead. So nice, Kendall. Examples of his work and my words:

11 Calculated

14 Audacity

31 Settle

32 Keck

33 Jabberwocky

A few, I felt, needed to be shown at a larger scale to really see the great detail.
If you want in on the project, lemme know.

I recently learned about Raquel Reed and her "Arch Enemy" Jeffree Star, and as much as I don't care for internet born "celebrities," I've found that ever since the death of Brad Renfro, I've become bored of following up and maintaining my dislike for the likes of Jared Leto, Keira Knightley, and Kirsten Dunst. I suppose now I can take an invested personal interest in these two brats because as "Hilton-esque" as I find their fame to be, they both started as makeup artists, and continue to advance in their skill.

Listening to the last moments of Kevin and Bean this morning, I heard a red-neck caller talking about his "Conspiracy Theory" on Barack Obama. His theory is that because the man's middle name is Hussein, and because he was raised a muslim, that we have a[you know the word so say it with me] terrorist, TERRORist, TERROR-IST[!!!] running for office, brain washing the general public.

And as long as I'm on a[rare for me]political rant, I'd like to take this opportunity to make something unmistakably clear: My choice as to who I find fit to lead a country, be it a registered republican, does not mean that I agree with the modern republican conservative views. Any of you who find yourselves thinking that I'm hopping into line with your redneck warped Christian Caravan, please do your research. Ron Paul is a libertarian. He is registered republican because he believes in the grass roots definition of republican. Not the pompous ChurchandState cult its become. Please don't categorize me with you.
