I just typed up a presentation I have to make tonight on the derivation of Gauss' Law from Coulomb's Law. It involved many many math symbols and Greek letters, and I nearly copy/pasted the computer to death. I will hand it out to everyone in my class, and they will throw it away as soon as I am finished speaking. I would too, if I were them. I admit, this derivation is only fleetingly interesting for my purposes.
I haven't had to make a presentation on anything in, oh, years, so hopefully I'll be sufficiently unspastic and thorough, articulate enough, and write large enough on the board.

My chem lab partner asked me to tutor her for an hour yesterday on physics homework. She's taking the same physics class I took last semester.
I explained a few things to her, and then proceeded to confirm that I would have made every single mistake she made in the homework problems. As in, none of the answers we were finding were listed as correct in the back of the book.
For that, she gave me $20.
At least I was able to reveal the secret location of the solution booklet to her, so it wasn't a total wash.

A summary and clarification on my last entry. Substance. I'm just begging for more substance in people's lives. That's all.

We have finally figured out a way to have coffee together on workday mornings. We brew a whole pot of coffee whenever we get the chance and stick it in the fridge. We can then make ice coffees for drinkage during dressage before we leave for work/school. It's so much nicer than trying to hold on to a cup during the commute, which we barely share anyway given that I only have class at 9 one day of the week.
So yeah. Morning coffee with husband = very nice.
