Well I finally made it to Germany, after much much drama that I don't feel like going into yet. London was cool, they have wonderful parks. I don't know if I prefer Hyde Park or Kensington Gardens as they were both beautiful. Lakes, trees, green grass, and people rollerblading everywhere. And we are talking HUGE parks here, like Central Park size huge. I of course did the whole afternoon tea thing at a place that had the cutest Maitre D; he personified what I thought a typical Englishman would be: polite, interesting, as well as cute. Liege Belgium was interesting, they have waffles with stuff inside and of course frites (fries with mayo). Frankfurt is interesting, everything was destroyed in the war so everything is new. One building completely survived and its a restaurant :-P The area along Main River is pretty cool and you can take cruises. They can go up the Rhein River and of course you can try wines... Limi's says that you get pretty trashed by the time you get back. They have a place here called the Nutelleria where everything is made with Nutella, yummy. I also tried Apfelwein which tastes kind of like white wine with apple juice. Tomorrow I go to visit another friend 2 hours from here somewhere... and then Saturday back here again to check out flea market and then hop on the night train to Paris.
