Holy Mary, An Update!!!
Why do I suck so bad at this? Its not like I don't contantly check on OTHER people's LJ's. I'm such a lame-o when it comes to writing stuff down. Here is a list of things that have been going on. At least then maybe it will be a start...
- Moved to Toronto and am an unemployed bum. Its my last summer of freedom, I should be enjoying it, right? Besides, i'm not really unemployed. I have a short contract that should last until July...then I'm really gonna be a bum.
- Glen and I went to Cleveland a couple of weeks ago for Amerivespa (National scooter rally of the Vespa Club of America). We won blue ribbons! I've never won a blue ribbon before in my life. It was rad. I won "Krylon King" which means best custom on a budget. I also got an honourable mention for best 60/70's vespa custom. Glen won best widebody vespa for his 54 Fenderlight. I'm so proud of him! :)
- My scooter is now on the bench getting new main bearings. If the scooter shop people weren't such chumps, I'd be riding my bike NOW. First the sold me bearing for a P series, then they sold me bearing for a Lambretta??? Now I'm waiting for a new shipment...
- Its bloddy hot here but its hot everywhere.
- My trip to India is confirmed. I'm leaving on December 15th for a 15 day tour through Gap Adventures. From there I will be travelling to Ranthambhore National Park to the hospital where I will be studying/working for 4 weeks. I should be home by the end of January. Can I say how excited I am at this point? I want to pee my pants!
- Toronto Vintage Scooter Rally coming up the July 1st long weekend, so that should be fun!
- Went to see VNV Nation last week. I've been waiting to see them live for years now. I got drunk and danced my ass off. It was one of my favourite concerts ever.
- Been playing Animal Crossing and Zelda:Windwaker like crazy.
Okay, that is all for now. At least its something. I'll try to update more. But I always say that.
