Yay me, I'm actually getting on really well with revision.

Then coming here and posting about it.

Ah, well.

Anyhoo, Doctor Who aired Saturday night ...

I LOVED it.

Firstly, I am now completely sold on Martha. At first I was indifferent and a little annoyed, then respectful and admiring but not in love ... I wouldn't say I'm there yet but I honestly, genuinly do like her now. Freema rocked the scene crying over the Hath. I was upset too. Some said her acting was dodgy there but I respectfully disagree.

I don't need to be any more sold on Donna than I already am - and she really got the Doctor talking! Yay!

And the Doctor ... David I love you. You are brilliant. Everything about this episode was brilliant. From the fact that the Doctor picked up the gun - creating quite a stir considering his anti-gun-ness was particularly highlighted over the last few episodes - to his growing affection for Jenny. I loved seeing him care like that, hadn't seen that twinkle in his eyes since the days of Rose.

Oh and I loved Jenny too. Thought I wouldn't. Totally did. So glad she lived - even if the plot contrivances of this episode were a tad predictable. But hey now, all the writers of Doctor can't be Steven Moffat. Give me brilliant character development and humour a'plenty - squeaky toy mouse anyone? - and I'm happy.

One moment I particularly loved ... the first time the Doctor and Donna entered the human's military camp and then the camera cut to a wider shot and it turned out to be an underground theatre. I don't know why, I just really liked that moment.

But how can I forget Joe? He's such a good little actor, though I was annoyed he didn't have more to do. But at least he got to kiss a pretty girl ( though lazers regardless Jal could totally kick Jenny's ass ) and work with David Tennant.

Hope this is the sign of more good roles to come. I'd take him over Nicolas Hoult anyday BBC.

In other news I have a new favourite show - M*A*S*H. It is simply the best thing ever. I cannot possibly give it enough justice through pure description.

Oh and I may have a big, big crush on Hawkeye / Alan Alda - even if he's a bit old and decrepit now. But he was a big supporter of woman's rights too so what's not to love?

Oh and it's all gorgeous and sunny and we have a hammock in our garden so even though I have an AS exam in two days I'm literally in like the best mood ever. It's probably not healthy how much the weather can influence my mood but that's what comes of living in Britain.

school stuff, doctor who reaction post, m*a*s*h
