I can't believe two of my favorite high school teachers passed away in the span of three months. I remember they both seemed healthy when I graduated from Haig, and to me, that wasnt even that long ago! Mr. Sutherland was the one of the nicest, and most easy-going teacher I've ever meet, he taught me physics, biology, and recommended me for the biology award. He died of a heart attack in late November.
Mrs. Nathan taught me Math for grade 11 and 12. She was an amazing and very inspirational teacher. I respect her very very much. She's the reason why I always did well in Calculus. She died of cancer in September this year.
It breaks my heart to know that I will never be able to thank them for all the things they taught me, in school and in life.
R.I.P Mr. Sutherland
R.I.P Mrs. Nathan
Time really flies, and everyday, I am reminded of how short life actually is. I am more awared of that fact now that I am growing older. Make the most of your life, and hold those who matter close to your heart. Nobody knows what tomorrow holds.
