Two Gnomes and 2 Humans walk into a bar...

Jan 26, 2004 15:04

One game session and already our gaming group is back into old habits. The "One-Man-Body-Count" player is grooming his character to be slice-n-dice uber warrior (by taking the right combination of Feats and weapons) We bestowed the title "One-Man-Body-Count" due to his ability to go through SO many characters per module. Another participant is playing some obscure race since the ones within the Player's Handbook aren't good enough for him; or maybe he likes unusual creatures instead of the status-quo. Whatever the case may be, he always plays some bizarre race. The third partaker plays his usual smartass caster, while I (Gnome Fighter) play whatever sounds good on paper.

For those playing at home, this month's game (See previous posts) is D&D 3ed. Bonus points to those who can figure out what module we are playing.

The 2 Gnomes (myself and the smartass caster) arrive at a far away castle due to word of goblins and koblods living in nearby caves. We find 2 humans at the local pub (Great place to find adventurers!!!) and invite them on the up coming killing fest of goblins and kobolds. The caves were somewhere....northish...so northward we went. Found and investigated a side trail and made friends with a Druid who was also a bee keeper. Luckily, he knew where these caves were and pointed us to the right direction.

We arrived at these caves and began exploring the nearest opening. After running into several iron-gates traps and a waxed vampire, we encountered a series of confusing passageways. Left was Right....Right was Left but only some of the time. However, Miss Fortune smiled upon us when we found an imprisoned beauty (with snakes on top of her head) offering her wealth to escort her out of these cursed caves.

What happens next....tune in next time!
